Scotland's Ultimate Species Hunt

Come and test your skills in some of the UK's best fishing waters.

Some of the highest calibre fishing in the country.

The inaugural Mull of Galloway Sea Angling Festival will be a two-day species hunt fished  from small private boats on the weekend of 25th & 26th August 2018.  The competition will be won by the boat crew who catch the greatest number of species over these two days, in the event of a tie, the winner will be decided on the boat with the greatest overall catch length. There will also be a number of other competitions running along side the main event.

Port Logan  and Drummore are the intended venues for the event with Port Logan being fished on the Saturday and Drummore being used on the Sunday. There will be scope to swap the venues/days depending on the weather.

The Festival HQ is located in the Clashwhannon Caravan Park and Public House. This is where anglers will gather each night for a chat and a pint, hear about changes to the venues and receive important news from the committee regarding the following days competition. The welcome night on the Friday and the Presentation Night on the Sunday are also held here.
